Wouldn't it be nice if I had a little working set of mini-ETL tools that I could use in Excel? Yes it would be. The first one I would build would be a 'monther'. Every time I take data from a flat file I need to convert month numbers to MMM and vice versa. I've got a column of 300,000 numbers and I don't want to do 12 separate search and replaces. I want a Monther. Don't you?
